Alexander brings nearly two decades of expertise in Data & Analytics. Since December 2020, he has held the position of Head of Business Intelligence at Fressnapf|MaxiZoo, Europe’s largest Pet Retailer. In this role, Alexander leads the strategy and implementation of Fressnapf’s next generation Data & Analytics Platform, which incorporates Data Integration, Data Warehousing, Analytics, Reporting and Data Provisioning Services across the Fressnapf Group, with his team across Germany and Hungary.
Before joining Fressnapf, Alexander gained valuable experience working in Australia for several well-known companies, including Coles (Retail/Logistics), Jetstar Airways (Qantas Group / Aviation), and TelstraSuper (Finance/Telco). His academic background includes a PhD and MBA from Bond University, where his research focused on enhancing Analytics and Business Intelligence Systems with AI for decision automation, particularly in the context of pricing decisions for Retail Chains.
