Axel started his career in 1998 in the financial sector in Frankfurt, where he worked for several banks and investment companies as Financial Controller. With his diploma in Controlling and International Accounting, he concentrated soon on automating repetitive tasks in the controlling department and acting as connector between the single departments and IT. Since 2017, Axel works in the Group Controlling at BRITA headquarter, where he is responsible for the BRITA Analytics Community, the development of trainings and eLearnings, and the data integration based on Excel, Power BI , and Power Query. He developed his IT skills on the job.
